    The authors purpose for the film in my opinion is to show that you should have common courtesy for others especially in an elevator where everyone is packed in close together. The audience the author is trying to direct this to is people of all races shown in the video, all ages, and people from different backgrounds. every time a new person would get on the elevator they had a louder device every time. and ironically when the guy with the big radio came onto the elevator he put in his headphones.
